Pusan

After a few much needed hours of sleep, we begin our trek to meet Meaghan and Kevin for lunch. Kevin meets us on Meaghan's scooter and I hijack it and have way too much fun driving the thing on sidewalks dodging Koreans who should be more scared then they are.

We eat some lunch at a traditional Korean restaurant and eat sushi type food and pickled beets and spicy fish. Meaghan takes us to her school where all the adorable Korean children are on a break. They are so excited to see us that they swarm us like bees and are shrieking and talking and laughing and gibbering in Korea. They are so hyper it's like a zoo in there! We find out soon that their little exclamations primarily say: "new teacher!" and "so tall! so tall!"

We sit in a class of 4 year olds while Meaghan teaches, and when we tell them our names they break into hysterics. For some reason they find us ever-so-amusing, and they are so adorable that we can only laugh back at them and their mannerisms. We are all enamored with each other.

The class ends and as we exit the classroom we are once again mauled, this time worse. The children seem to have a fascination with our asses and grab them and try to pull down our pants to see our bum cracks. Two children hook onto each leg at the same time, while another puts her hands in my back pockets and her friends affix themselves to her waist. Next thing you know we are doing "the train" down the hall, me, their fearless leader, adorned with slippers of Korean children. I am laughing very hard at this point. I feel so loved.

Meaghan has a break and we escape to the sea for an hour and enjoy the scenery. The weather is fairly mild and it's a sunny day. Soon we go back to the apartment to pack for Bangkok. We have only been here a few hours and are not quite ready to hop on yet another airplane, but we know that once we enter the heat of Thailand, we'll be thrilled.

Sounds like you guys are having fun already. The writer of this blog is very good, I think you should tip him with some good saki wine. LOL I was scared for you guys with those Korean children. I've heard they can maul you like a bear. So next time, just tuck into the fetal position and cover your face. ;)
